piggyback blog: it's just too good to not forward on + sufjan stevens's's symphony thingy

I don't know how he found this (probably one of those internet memes that gets forwarded around) but my-favorite-playwright-and-superfriend, Kelly Lusk, found this fun thing to listen to on the Nestle Crunch Hotline. Journey to his blog, Future Dog Walker, and follow the instructions. You'll easily crack a smile.

And, if you're down for a good listen, check out Sufjan Stevens's latest album of instrumental music, The BQE. It's based on a film he wrote and directed that had something to do with the Brooklyn Queens Expressway and it is both incredibly interesting and mildly hypnotic. My favorite track is easily "Introductory Fanfare for the Hooper Heroes." He gets this great reverse Scotch Snap across the orchestra that sounds like what happens when I bang around on a piano...but much, much better.

Listening to this album makes me wish I had found the time to go see the Southern's production of the piece back in October. Total missed opportunity.
